All creatures, big and small, play a part in maintaining healthy ecosystems; when habitats shrink, so do those populations. The effects can be devastating, which is why Young Living is making great strides to help a species in crisis—the monarch butterfly.

Since 2019, Young Living, inspired by Rachel Taylor, has created and registered four waystations and has more in the works to help protect and support the monarch butterfly population.

Data suggests that the western population of migratory monarchs has shrunk by more than 80% over the past four decades, with some reports as high as 99.9%. While the migratory monarch butterfly is not yet federally protected under the Endangered Species Act, many conservation groups have categorized this species as endangered.
