Fall Season MTB Drifting? DRIFTWOOD Allatoona Creek Park | Backcountry MTB Singletrack In Metro ATL

The fall season leaves are down, and it is Loose! 2 GoPros One Rider for Fun Fall Season Mountain Biking in Metro Atlanta. I'm sliding everywhere riding this MTB Trail for the first time.

Driftwood MTB Trail, at Metro Atlanta's massive Allatoona Creek Park in Acworth, Georgia. A gigantic mountain bike trail system with 40 miles of mountain bike trails.

I'm capturing this first time ride on Driftwood with two camera perspectives, GoPro Hero 11 Black chest mounted, and GoPro Hero 7 Black on the hemet, turned around facing backwards recording a unique view that truly captures the terrain.

Driftwood has a true Backcountry style feel this time of year. The fall leaves, pinestraw, and pure nature of this Allatoona Creek Park singletrack is challenging my composure to stay on the mountain bike and on the trail.

Driftwood has a lot of great elements found in the area of North Georgia. Rocks, roots, technical sections with narrow wood features, punchy steep climbs, and fast sections that can be unnerving in loose conditions.

​⁠​⁠​⁠​⁠​⁠​⁠​⁠​⁠​⁠​⁠​⁠​⁠‪@TooMuchBike‬ and ​⁠​⁠​⁠​⁠​⁠​⁠​⁠​⁠​⁠​⁠​⁠​⁠‪@buildthedream77‬ have sparked my interest in not only returning to Allatoona Creek Park to mountain bike after my injury, but to ride THIS specific trail. A true Cross country, Backcountry style of singletrack I truly enjoy. Check out their videos of Driftwood below!

Allatoona Creek Park is beautiful, large and has many great mountain bike trails for ANY level rider that is maintained by Sorba West Georgia.

Be sure to check out the website for trail conditions and closures, as Allatoona Creek Park is on the edge of Lake Allatoona, and used for hunting in certain areas during the fall and winter season.

Pitner Road Dog Park is also part of Allatoona Creek Park MTB Trails, and has additional miles of singletrack mountain biking to explore.
