Phasing Check at 3.3kV Switchboard for Parallel Transformer Operation

Описание к видео Phasing Check at 3.3kV Switchboard for Parallel Transformer Operation

This is a record of a phasing check of 2 matched 8MVA 11/3.3kV transformers (secondary side) that feed a 3.3kV switchboard. This check is undertaken to ensure that the secondary phases of the 2 transformers have the same vector sequences. This will allow the 2 transformers to be paralleled safely either temporarily to enable maintenance switching without consumer outages or continuously for a more secure network (dependant on system design, fault level withstand, protection system configuration etc). Many engineers and electricians can go through the entire career and never see this test, so why not check it out.

From design through to certification, let's give you a glimpse inside the world of the industrial electrical environment covering systems, networks & apparatus up to 33kV and down to 24VDC!
