Join us for a blitz across the Masspike and NY Thruway (I-90) in a 2022 Hyundai IONIQ 5...

How fast can we get across our usual route to Cleveland, Ohio from Boston Metrowest? This coincidentally aligns with 621.4 miles of travel, better known to EV nerds as the "1,000km Challenge", popularized by EV guru Bjørn Nyland in Norway and translated to these shores by our fellow Bolter, Eric Way, out in California.

We cover a lot of distance in a single drive day to look at the travel time, charging speed, potential costs, and how the overall trip compares to old-school combustion car travel.
