Ty’s Second Time on Dirt! Elm Creek w/ Ty | Champlin, MN | Mountain Bike Minnesota

It’s only Ty’s second time out on the trails and I opted to take him to the flowiest trail in the metro, Elm Creek. This trail system is chock-full of features, many of which are easily sessionable, and is seemingly growing jumps and berms overnight thanks to the dedicated trail crew. After dominating Carver Lake Park I figured Elm would serve as a good place for progression for Ty, and it turned out to be true as he hit gnarlier skinnies and caught more air time than on the previous ride. Even more impressive, to me at least, was that this dude went from a 5 mile ride his first time to an 11 miler on his next. This kid’s a damn cyborg.
