In Euphoria season 2, Maddy rarely wears her iconic purple. Instead, she switches to green, blue, and black outfits. Her style is to visually show the aftermath of season 1 and everything Nate put her through, while she tries to grow as a person. Maddy tries to be more mature this season – replicating what she sees in Samantha and some of their clothes mirror each other (the purple dress is one example). Maddy starting the season in a black New Year’s dress and ending in a green romper as she walks away from Cassie and Nate is significant. Maddy Perez’s fashion is highly intentional, and her colour palette helps tell her story of indecisiveness and growth.
