Welcome back to RBR, and today we’re exploring the newly updated #Audi e-tron GT, a car that’s as fast as an #F1 car in a straight line—seriously! Check out the launch control at the start at a test facility, and just see our hilarious reaction to this insane 2.1 second launch!!
With a significant bump in performance, design, handling, and range, the 2024 e-tron GT is here to make waves in the EV world. But the big question is: Is it worth the upgrade?
In this video, we’ll break down everything you need to know about the updated e-tron GT lineup, from the S e-tron GT to the insanely powerful #AudiSport RS Performance models. Each version has seen huge upgrades, with the RS Performance now the most powerful Audi Sport model ever. These new models push the envelope with cutting-edge technology, but do they justify the premium over the older models?
Key Highlights:
Performance Boost: The new e-tron GT boasts a 97 kWh battery and revamped PSM motors, giving the S e-tron a massive 680 PS and the RS Performance a jaw-dropping 925 PS. With ranges up to 374 miles and acceleration from 0-60 mph in just 2.5 seconds, this EV means business.
Suspension Revolution: The new Active Ride Suspension gives you the best of both worlds—luxury and sportiness. With two-valve dampers and rear-wheel steering, the e-tron GT is as comfortable as a luxury sedan but as dynamic as a sports car.
Design & Interior:
Audi has nailed it with a much more aggressive and sporty design, especially in the RS models, with sharp styling cues especially with the massively aggressive front end, finally some great allots and a new rear diffuser. Inside, expect paddles for regen braking, boost mode for extra power, and a refreshed Audi Virtual Cockpit with a new flat-bottom steering wheel.
Model Breakdown:
S e-tron GT: 680 PS, 3.4 secs to 60 mph, £107,730
RS e-tron GT: 857 PS, 2.8 secs to 60 mph, £126,330
RS Performance: 925 PS, 2.5 secs to 60 mph, £142,830
We’ll also compare the e-tron GT to its close sibling, the Porsche Taycan, which shares the same platform but comes at a higher price. Which one comes out on top? Watch to find out!
Don’t miss the full drive review and see if the Audi e-tron GT is really worth the upgrade in 2024!
