Expanded Functions Dental Assistants and Restorative Procedures. An Interview with Lynda Sherman

Описание к видео Expanded Functions Dental Assistants and Restorative Procedures. An Interview with Lynda Sherman

Although it's not a nationwide option, a few states let dental assistants and hygienist add to their skill sets and restore teeth. Similar to a physician’s assistant role in the medical world, an EFDA plays a comparable role in the dental field by working closely alongside a dentist. This specific expanded functions license (EFDA) allows a dentist to remove decay and prepare the teeth for fillings and then their EFDA can then come in for the final restorations process.

In today's BURST tv interview, we have a chat with Lynda Sherman who has been doing impactful work like this for a couple decades!
