Compositions of sripadarAjaru (Thematic Concert 1) - Manasa Nayana - Keshav Mohankumar - Sai Shiv

This is a concert series aimed at showcasing Carnatic Music compositions that are not heard very often. And, familiar compositions, when featured, are showcased in an unfamiliar setting.
We kickstart the concert series with the compositions of Haridasas. We are grateful to Vid. N. Chennakeshavaiah who has compiled the traditional tunes of these compositions in his books for posterity and to Guru Padmabhushana Dr. R. K. Srikantan for singing these compositions often in his concerts.
Sripadarajaru/Sripadarayaru is considered the pioneer in composing Devaranamas and systmatizing the singing of these compositions in Bhajana groups. Haridasas offer their first salutations to Sripadarajaru at the begining of every bhajana session.
