Advanced imaging of spondyloarthropathies*: What is new? // *aka Spondyloarthritis

This lecture by Professor Kay G. Hermann, delivered at an international radiological conference, focuses on the pathophysiology of sacroiliitis in the context of axial spondyloarthritis. Also presented will be new developments in imaging of the sacroiliac joints, such as VIBE sequence, bone MRI (artificial CT images), or SWI images. Furthermore, mechanical features, for example, osteitis condensans and gender differences, will be addressed.
