A terror attack targeted a diplomatic convoy in Pakistan's Swat Valley. Diplomats from 12 nations were invited to Swat to promote local industries and tourism. An IED blast hit their convoy as it was making its way back from a hill station and ski resort called Malam Jabba. One police officer died in the attack and 4 other people were injured. All the diplomats escaped unharmed.
