There's been developments. Again.
Developments which I initially didn't expect to occur, but that did, just like last time.
As a result of those developments I've been given a copy of the PC version of SMT V: Vengance.

Long story short; it's another ATLUS re-release.
A few gameplay improvements, some QoL features, a new story or story segment involving a waifu character (just like in P4G, just like in P5R, just like in Strange Journey from what I heard, et cetera, et cetera.)
I'm not sure what else should I add.
Mechanically speaking it's the exact same game that came out for the Switch two and a half years ago or so, but now I don't have to deal with the limitations of my life circumstances in order to enjoy it.
No more disastrous performance on Ryujinx or visual glitches on Yuzu, the PC version works like a dream even with my extremely subpar-for-2024 hardware.
I guess I could mention that it's also a tad easier since you get stat-increasing incenses, stat buffs for the Nahobino, essences and other cool items for free from time to time in the Demon Haunt.

Something that I couldn't show on the video because there wasn't a way to do so, is that I'm using Lyall's SMTVFix.

I'm using it to do a few things:
-Skip the intro videos.
-Disable Temporal Anti-Aliasing (aka TAA)
-Set the internal resolution scale to 90% of 1600x900
-Reduce the resolution of the shadows by half.
I'm doing the last 3 to soften up the GPU usage a bit.

The game stays above 45 FPS pretty much always.
Without recording, the framerate is smoother than it's shown here (specially during the parts of this video where the CPU is fully used; the game doesn't have any such slowdowns during normal gameplay), and it stays at 60 FPS at all times on 720p also without recording.
There's a minor stutter here or there, like for example the first time you start a battle. That is likely due to shader compilation shenanigans.
The only other time I noticed a significant decrease in performance on the PC version is whenever I use the Leyline Crossing.
I'm not sure why, but the game's world map hits the framerate hard at 900p for whatever reason.
