Sunny skies and warm temperatures are knocking on the door to the Pacific Northwest.

Storm Tracker 2 Meteorologist Dave Salesky says we are going to be seeing the hottest temperatures of the year.

“To quote singer Buster Poindexter "It's gonna be Hot, Hot, Hot!" First 80 and 90 degree days in 9 months coming later this week.”

Salesky says there is no rain in the forecast for at least the next seven days.

“Record high temperatures coming Friday and Saturday. As far as rain, forget about it,” Salesky stated.

The last time Portland saw temperatures in the 80s was October 8th, 2023.
