Every year between Oct - May, Flamingos come to Thane creek to feed on proliferating blue-green algae. Increasing pollution has resulted in surge in algae growth in Thane creek attracting more and more flamingos.

For boat ride booking, you can contact the flamingo sanctuary at their official contact number which is +91 9987673737. Please check the boat ride schedule and make your bookings in advance. Note - Weekend rides are usually full and should be booked well in advance.

Boat ride timing and schedule is based on high tides. Cost per person 330 on weekdays and 440 on weekends.

Apart from boat ride, you can also visit Coastal and Marine Biodiversity Museum, Mangrove Boardwalk and Souvenir stall inside the museum.
