From hauling debris to the dump site, to grinding the debris and stockpiling it, to loading the ground debris into haul out trailers.

Recovery isn't simple, it's a process and requires man-hours and heavy equipment and many other moving parts.

Many times all people see is the debris in their neighborhood or along the street. They see debris as a nuisance and want it gone. They think of themselves.

Debris is more than a nuisance to some.

To some it is a job they are willing to travel far from home to complete.

To many locals it is a way to give back to their community and a way to help in the effort to recover as efficiently as possible.

I have done a small part in documenting the effort of those who have made the recovery possible.

I'm grateful to all those who have taken part in the cleanup and made it possible.

Together we can make and move mountains of mulch.
