Welcome to my 2024 housing market (In-demand areas) update for Greenville, SC! In this video, I'll give you a quick tour of the most in-demand neighborhoods that buyers want to live in right now.

From downtown Greenville, a charming area with boutiques, restaurants, and entertainment, let’s head north on Wade Hampton Blvd/Hwy. 29. This leads you through two popular towns: Taylors and Greer, with adorable downtowns, popular restaurants and stores, and great homes throughout. Parents love the schools in these areas, like Wade Hampton High School, Taylors High School Elementary, League Academy, Riverside High School and more.

Headed to the east is known as the Eastside—filled with many neighborhoods like Sugar Creek, Silverleaf, and highly desirable schools including Eastside High School and Buena Vista Elementary.
To the north you’ll find the North Greer area following highways, 290 and 101 and including fantastic neighborhoods like O’neal Village and Blue Ridge Plantation near Lake Robinson, a stunning lake with mountain views in the distance.

Travelers Rest is a quaint small town in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, north of downtown Greenville, and just west of North Greer. With the Swamp Rabbit Trail and Paris Mountain nearby, it’s perfect for outdoor lovers!

Southeast of downtown, check out Mauldin, Simpsonville/Five Forks and Fountain Inn. Five Forks is located further down Woodruff Rd yet still close the bustling Woodruff Rd retail areas with shopping, dining, and entertainment. The Simpsonville downtown is adorable, and Fountain Inn is quickly expanding and features Greenville County’s newest high school.

Conestee and Powdersville are up-and-coming outer suburbs seeing new construction. And Berea/ Parker offer convenience to downtown Greenville and the Cherrydale near Pleasantburg Rd.
Most popular areas are within a 30-minute drive of downtown. With charming small towns, family-friendly suburbs, and urban living, Greenville has diverse options for any lifestyle and still and affordable, wonderful quality of living.
