This song portrays dejected story of a son, who yearns for the presence of his father who never returned from abroad military service. Days and night had passed, but his father was nowhere to be found, or even heard about. Dispirited, the son gets lost in his own trauma, remembering the father-son moments. Therefore, putting on his father's military shirt and headgear, he wanders away from his home searching for him.

The lyrics highlights the promises made by a father to his son, that were never fulfilled. Nevertheless, the son sings along with the shallow vows made to him by his father, in distress, in melancholy.
