Metro-North Railroad

Today, we are at Waterbury Union Station once again. Went out alone on this one.

Today arriving in Waterbury, is Metro-North Waterbury Line #1922 [Then Turned 1973] ending its roundtrip at Waterbury, to then push back to Bridgeport once again.

Today’s consists of Metro-North BL20GHM 127, a rebuilt Brookville BL20GH Wrapped In Coke Zero CTrail Scheme. May New Haven rest in peace.

Today I did a walking tour today. Unlike most railfanners that mainly catch the train and cut to the chase, shortly after arrival I did a walkthrough and tour. This is more enticing than just cutting to the approach of the train, to the arrival of the train, and gives a vivid example.
This is not to shame other railfanners, but the tour made this trip better as opposed to just one main focus.

Disclaimer:
If you railfan at Waterbury, PLEASE BE ATTENTIVE! It is without a doubt that there are bums strode about, and possibly people that don’t have it all. In TikTok, this is automatically the 4th spot down as the most dangerous city in Connecticut. Railfanning with expensive and equipment/electronics comes with heavy paying attention, for your safety, and security. The world is a dangerous place, but with being focused and remaining calm, you can always have fun. I however had to focus a lot, though the station was empty, despite how the town is. It was a great adventure, but this area, especially at 5 AM as I did my Waterbury-Harlem, is not ideal times to just hang out innocently at a rail station.

In addition, people that don’t have it all stay strode about in areas people they know have expenses carried with them, so this is one area to look out for. If you’re near the train, you must have cash then. This is the main hypothesis of Waterbury. Always stay safe, God Bless
