Civil War North vs South 2017 at Hednesford Hills Raceway!

Three classes of National Bangers take part in this unique event – the Light Brigade in small hatchbacks such as Micras and Kas, the Infantry in medium-sized 2 litre cars (i.e. Mondeos) and the Tank drivers in Unlimited cars – the bigger the better! Each class gets three races plus a Demolition Derby where the last soldier still moving wins.

With a total of 80 soldiers per side, including some of the biggest names and teams in the sport and many regular rivalries being put aside for one day only (but not all!), the meeting promises to deliver some of the biggest hits seen anywhere in National Banger racing in 2017. Following the resignation of Northern General Scott Wagstaff after last year’s third straight defeat, the original Northern General is back at the helm in the formidable shape of Stu Kearsley, and he will marshal his troops expertly against the experience of veteran Southern General Paul Adams.
