This is a historical site for Jain religion. We have seen statue of Lord Mahabira dating back to 9_10 AD, there is also remains of some jain temples. And a small museums. This place is 65 km from purulia town. There is no hotel for night stay. Even there is no place to eat. It is advisable to carry food and water. The museum is not open all the day but the caretaker stay in the near by village. You have to look for him. Unfortunately some local village folks pray the Idol of Lord Mahabira as Lord shiva. So, guy's if you are interested in history just go for this place.
