🐝Bees play a vital role in our food supply and our environment. This buzzy little species not only provides us with tasty honey but also helps pollinate the world’s food-producing plants, including the dazzling mustard plant.

#ICICIFoundation started a free-of-cost bee-keeping training program for mustard farmers across India. The programme teaches the farmers how to care for and grow the population of bees on their farms with the help of bee boxes. It also trains the farmers to safely and sustainably extract honey, beeswax, and other such products that can supplement their income in the off-seasons.

ICICI Foundation has provided over 90,000 bee boxes, benefiting more than 5,000 farmers and resulting in the collection of more than 14,00,000 kilos of honey.🍯
