The Problematic Queers of J. Blakeson | Writer/Director J. Blakeson has introduced multiple problematic queers with his films "The Disappearance of Alice Creed" and "I Care A Lot," and his television show "Culprits." Each of them highlight problematic queers as the main characters in stories that are just as requested as the "good" representation we've been receiving, but aren't talked about as much. And part of the reason why is thanks to how respect and respectability handles LGBT representation and what heteronormativity is trying to tell us is most important.
