Here's a great way to take 1 lead vocal track and multiple it, creating another layer or multiple layers of harmonies in a convincing way using Melodyne! This software is ideally used for fine editing of tracks and pitch correction, but you can take it a step further by duplicating your lead vocal track and completely changing the pitch of notes to create higher or lower harmonies.
