🦋 In WondLa Season 2 (2025), Eva stands before a massive, shimmering moth, speaking to it in the language of alien creatures. It appears harmless—soft wings, calm movements—yet behind her, its venomous stinger silently curls closer. Hearing a faint rustle, Eva turns, catching sight of its mouth slowly splitting open, revealing rows of razor-sharp teeth.

Just as the moth can no longer restrain its hunger, Eva 8 bursts into the scene, long blade flashing. With a single strike, she severs the tail, only to be kicked hard and sent sprawling as she tries to drive the blade into its underbelly. Eva freezes in shock, unable to move, as the moth lunges at her, jaws wide and dripping with intent.

At the last heartbeat, Eva 8 charges again, plunging her blade deep into the creature’s abdomen, ending the threat. Shaken, Eva insists, “It said it only wanted to protect its child.” But Eva 8’s voice is cold and certain: “Out here, nothing can be trusted. It lied because it was hungry—wanted to eat you, and feed you to its offspring.”
