Gokyo Ri Trek from Taksindu - Hiking in Gokyo | Everest

Our journey to Gokyo begins with a 320km long motorcycle ride from Kathmandu to Taksindu from where we head out for an incredible journey to reach the summit of Gokyo Ri!

The hike upto Gokyo Ri is very rewarding with view of Everest, Makalu, Lhotse, Cho-Oyu all over 8000 meter high peaks, largest glacier of Nepal, highest fresh water lake system and one of the highest human settlement in the world! The trek to Gokyo is an alternative to popular Everest Base Camp trek.

Road to Taksindu is an alternative to flying from Kathmandu to Lukla in other word Lukla by Road.
