This gorgeous 1991 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Custom is the ultimate street machine which is powered by a Twin Turbo V8 w/ 650HP and 6-speed manual transmission. As the clean Car Fax report indicates this car spent its entire life in Alabama and has no an accidents or damage reported. With its excellent ownership history and rust free body it was the perfect candidate for custom build. The vision of the build was to create the ultimate third generation Camaro which would stand apart from the rest of its siblings. The build was completed in 2014 and only has 475 miles. Since completion it’s primarily been used as a show vehicle. The body was completely taken to taken to bare metal including the engine compartment. It retains the 91-92 Z28 OEM hood, ground effects and rear spoiler which adds character to previous 85-90 Iroc-Z28 models. It was re-finished in its original color of Dark Red Metallic which dresses it beautifully. The paint work is higher quality then the factory paint was. It doesn’t have the orange peel that was found in the factory paint and the clear coat is much more brilliant. The exterior was recently detailed to a show quality shine. Like most vehicles it does have a few minor imperfections in the clear coat which are pointed out in the video provided by MS CLASSIC CARS. All of the glass and seals throughout were replaced new. Some exterior custom appointments include HID headlights, LED parking lights, custom marker lights, antenna and Audi door handles. The car has a great stance on new Centerline Rev polished wheels that are 18x8 on the front and 18x9.5 on the rear. The wheels are wrapped with Sumitomo HTR tires that are 245-45-18 on the front and 275-40-18 on the rear. The like new gray and black interior was completely gone through. Some of the trim pieces were restored and some were replaced such as the headliner, dash cover, door panels, console and carpeting. The car is equipped with factory installed power mirrors, power locks, power windows and air conditioning that all is in working order. The trunk compartment has an LED light and houses the subwoofer box, fire extinguisher and the relocated battery. The battery has a battery tender that is included. The entire engine compartment was painted and is highly detailed throughout. The backside of the hood was also re-painted and looks beautiful. All of the inner fender bolts are stainless and look the part. All of the wiring was replaced and covered throughout for a clean appearance. The car is powered by a Twin Turbo V8 w/ 650HP V8 engine. It was dyno tested on September 22, 2021 can be seen in the video provided by MS CLASSIC CARS. As the dyno sheet that’s included documents it put down 557 HP at the rear tires with 13.67 pounds of boost. The engine starts and runs excellent. The engine is a Chevrolet 5.3L 327 LS based V8 with a LS6 performance camshaft, LS1 intake manifold, fuel rails and ECM. Its equipped high volume oil pump, 60 pound fuel injectors and Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator. The engine has been outfitted with intercooled Garrett 58mm twin turbos. It has custom stainless steel down pipes and high flow air intake system. Some of the upgraded parts include twin Tial waste gates, two Walbro 255 LPH fuel pumps, aluminum intercooler lines and stainless steel braided fuel lines. The engine is cooled by an aluminum radiator with dual electric fans and is covered by a custom aluminum radiator support cover. The engine breathes through custom stainless headers and a custom stainless steel exhaust system with dual Magnaflow mufflers. The exhaust sounds sweet exiting the dual twin tips that look amazing from the rear. The engine is coupled to a Tremec T56 Magnum 6-speed manual transmission that works excellent. It’s equipped with a Spec stage 3 clutch and flywheel that is smooth to operate. The power is transferred to the pavement through the HD driveshaft and rebuilt POSI rear end. The rear end has a Tru-Trac differential, 31 spline axles, Motive 3.73 gears and black Ultimate 7.5 cover. The undercarriage is also highly detailed throughout. The floors were re-finished in gray primer which is very similar to the factory original paint. Everything was restored or replaced such as the power steering system, braking system, fuel system and suspension components. It’s equipped with power four wheel disc brakes with drilled and slotted rotors. Some of the suspension upgrades include Spohn sub frame connectors, Spohn torque arm, Spohn rear control arms, Eibach springs, Monroe shocks and Founders Performance front and rear sway bars. This car is very unique and a blast to drive!
