Orappam or rice halwa is a traditional snack of Kerala made with rice flour and fresh coconut milk. In olden days our grandmas made this in firewood stove and simultaneously baking by keeping amber above the the top lid till orappam is crispy on top and well cooked from bottom.
Now we can make this easily by cooking over gas stove and then grill in the oven until it is little crispy at the top.
