Thanks to my friend Jen for letting me know that Wawa was having a promotion for free tickets to the Bok Tower Gardens! Thanks Jen and Wawa! If you're not a member of the gardens it's $24 per adult to get in and I hate to say it, but I'm just too cheap to let loose of that much cash to walk around a botanical garden. Yup I'm cheap!

We ended up giving them 45 bucks anyway because we had lunch at the Blue Palmetto Cafe and it wasn't cheap. lol I had a great chicken BLT with gluten free bread so I was a happy camper.

If you get a chance visit these beautiful gardens in Lake Wales, Florida. There plant store is also a fantastic resource for purchasing native plants for your green space. Bok Tower Gardens website is https://boktowergardens.org/

A $3 discounted admission ticket can be purchased at the Visit Central Florida Welcome Center (https://visitcentralflorida.org/savings/) located at 101 Adventure Court, Davenport, FL. AAA members will receive a $3 discount on combo admission by presenting a valid membership card. We are offering free admission to active members of the military.

Bok Tower Gardens is open every day of the year from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. (except for Christmas day when the Gardens open at 12 p.m.) with the last admission at 5 p.m. Rates subject to change without notice. I'm not sure why it showed $24 at the gate, but it shows $17 on their site so I would contact them before hand to make sure. I think the rates below are for members.

Adults: $17
Children (ages 5-12): $5
Children (under 5): Free
Members: Free
Group rates are available with pre-registration of 20 or more.
