Today we take a look at Nike’s cheapest basketball shoes -the budget model: Nike Precision 5.

Retail price is set at $70 USD / $95 CAD. Considering that they’ll probably go on sale, you might be even able to get them at like the 50-60 dollar range which is a pretty good deal. I got these in the basic black and white colorway, which is usually the first colorway of a new Nike release including the signature shoes.

Looking at the shoes, I think first impresssion is the curve shape, outsole curvature is pretty obvious. Cushioning is mediocre, but it’s expected with the price tag. The materials feel pretty nice and soft, and I gotta say that these shoes are super light. So if you don’t like playing in heavy shoes, you’re gonna feel minimal weight wearing these. The traction pattern looks solid, based on the previous shoes I have this will hold up well on outdoor courts as well.
