MY FIRST BIG WALL IN YOSEMITE | Climbing The South Face of The Washington Column

Описание к видео MY FIRST BIG WALL IN YOSEMITE | Climbing The South Face of The Washington Column

For many aspiring big wall climbers, the South Face of the Washington Column is usually first on the tick list. This is because it is an easy wall to approach, has a bomber bivy ledge, and the aid climbing is fairly easy with a C1 grading. Unfortunately for my partner and I, we did not finish the route. We learned a lot on this adventure, and I am confident our next attempt will be successful. My partner and I opted to free climb all pitches on the route graded up to 5.10d and aid climb all the rest that were harder than 5.10d.

Join us on our big wall experience, as we begin to just scratch the surface of this new vertical realm.
