Do you think it is challenging to differentiate facts from opinions in this age of information overload ?
In this TEDx talk, Rashmi Muraleedhar will walk you through a regular day in her classroom as a critical thinking instructor. Join us to learn how to develop critical thinking skills as a student or a professional and using it to make informed decisions in our everyday lives. Rashmi Muraleedhar is an instructor at the Undergraduate Writing Programme and teaches a course on Critical Thinking to first year undergraduates at Ashoka University.
She is a social science researcher, who graduated with a masters degree in International Relations from the University of Chicago and a masters in Politics from Jawaharlal Nehru University.

Her research interests lie at the intersection of South Asian politics, nationalism, migration and foreign policy. Her MA thesis looked at civic engagement practices among the Indian diaspora in the US. With a commitment to live an examined life herself, she hopes to impress upon her students the significance and utility of critical thinking within the classroom and out of it. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at https://www.ted.com/tedx
