The Hmong American Farmers Association Working with the Minnesota NRCS

Описание к видео The Hmong American Farmers Association Working with the Minnesota NRCS

Over the past several years the Hmong American Farmers Association (HAFA) has been working with the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) in Minnesota on several EQIP (Environmental Quality Initiatives Program) and Conservation Reserve Program (CRP) projects including high tunnels, grass waterways, pollinator habitat, and wetland restoration. HAFA farmers grow a large variety of vegetables and flowers and sell them at local farmers markets, schools, and restaurants. HAFA also provides many low income people with boxes of fresh vegetables and provides business training for Hmong farmers. Videography by Dan Balluff.
