Pharaoh Lake Wilderness - Adirondack Mountains

Описание к видео Pharaoh Lake Wilderness - Adirondack Mountains

Here we are for a 3 day backpacking excursion into the Pharaoh Lake Wilderness in the Adirondack Mountains. I'm back once again to do the pond tour hike, an 19 mile loop (excluding Pharaoh Mountain) through some of the most beautiful landscapes I've had the pleasure to hike in.

I wanted to do something familiar this time around, which is why I chose to come back to a place I've already featured here on the channel. I didn't want to have to think about routes, maps, or where I was camping. I wanted to be able to cruise the trails and just soak in my surroundings...and I certainly got what I wanted.

I unfortunately had to hike through some of the worst air quality conditions that New York has seen in a very long time but it was still a great trip. My drive home down I-87 was surreal, I thought it would get better the further South I went but it just got progressively worse and worse. By the time I hit the Tappan Zee (yes, it will always be that name!) I was in utter shock.

Be good all, I'll see you on the next one! Hoping for the Catskills on Sunday the 18th and if not that, then I'm going to check out a fire tower in Beacon, NY.
