Video Description:
Single Leg Stance.

Keep eyes open and place hands on hips.

Lift your right leg off the ground and stand on one foot.

Monitor how long you are able to hold this position without removing your hands from your hips or placing your right foot down.

Start a second timer as soon as your right foot leaves the ground.
Next, switch sides and repeat on the opposite side.

With eyes open and hands on hips, raise your left foot off the ground and start the timer.

The timer stops if your hands leave your hips at any point or if your foot touches the ground

If you’re unable to hold the one legged stance for at least 5 seconds you are at greater risk of injury from falls.
