As Türkiye steps up regional mediation and its interests in the region, Jordan has taken a quieter, but no less critical role: advocating for long-term solutions rooted in human dignity, cooperation, and dialogue. Guided by the decades-long vision of Prince El Hassan bin Talal, Amman has pushed for frameworks like a New International Humanitarian Order, nuclear security dialogue, and regional cultural diplomacy. In a moment defined by fragmentation, Jordan is positioning itself not as a combatant — but as a convener. A country pushing for peace through principles, partnerships, and people. I sat down with the former crown prince, to get a deeper understanding of his vision and what he hopes to achieve.
