The Maitri Project - Mount Madonna School India Learning Journey 2019 Overview

An overview video of Mount Madonna School student's Maitri Project, which was a learning journey to India in Spring 2019. The trip included several interviews with prominent figures in India such as His Holiness the XIV Dalai Lama, Rinchen Khando, Kshama Metre, and Kamla Bhasin. They also visited Sri Ram Ashram and Har ki pauri in Haridwar, Pardada Pardadi Girls School in Anupshahr, met with other school students their age in Delhi, and visited a variety of different religious places of significance. The Mount Madonna students fundraised and brought donations, physical and monetary, to various organizations in India.
Every other year, Mount Madonna School takes seniors to India and juniors to South Africa.
