Positive 2: आपने मुग़ल-ए-आज़म फिल्म का प्रसिद्ध गीत ‘प्यार किया तो डरना क्या’ जरूर सुना होगा इसके गीतकार थे शकील बदायूंनी, आज हम उन्हीं के शहर बदायूँ की बात करेंगे। सूफी संत और औलिया की सरजमीं कहलाने वाला बदायूँ अपनी अनोखी पहचान के लिए दुनिया भर में मशहूर है। एक समय तक बदायूँ को रूहेलखण्ड का दिल कहा जाता था। सुल्तान इल्तुतमिश के शासन दौरान 1210 ईस्वी से 1214 ईस्वी तक चार साल के लिए दिल्ली सल्तनत की राजधानी बदायूं थी।
पश्चिमी उत्तर प्रदेश के एक प्रमुख कारोबारी जिले की हैसियत रखने वाला बदायूँ 4234 sq km में फैला हुआ है जिसकी आबादी तकरीबन 37 लाख है जिसमें से 21 फीसद आबादी मुस्लिम है। अभी तक हम लोग यही सुनते आये हैं कि फलां साहब ने अपनी बेगम की याद में मकबरा बनवाया मगर बदायूँ में आ कर यह कहानी उल्टी पड़ गयी। बदायूँ की सबसे प्रसिद्ध जगह ‘रोजा इख़लास ख़ान’ का निर्माण नवाब इखलास खान की पत्नी ने अपने पति (इखलास खान) की याद में करवाया था।
बदायूँ जिले में 6 विधानसभा और 1 लोकसभा की सीट है जिन पर समाजवादी पार्टी की पकड़ मानी जाती थी मगर पिछले चुनाव में यह मिथक भी टूट गया। बदायूँ का शुमार देश के उन पिछड़े जिलों में होता है जिन्हें भारत सरकार के पंचायती राज मंत्रालय (2006) की तरफ से विकास के लिए खास तौर पर ऐड मिलती है। दिल्ली से केवल 280 किलोमीटर दूर होने की वजह से बदायूँ ट्रांसपोर्ट के मामले में काफी बेहतर है।
भारत के सबसे पुरानी और बड़ी मस्जिदों में शामिल बदायूँ की जामा मस्जिद जिसको सुल्तान इल्तुतमिश ने बनवाया था इस शहर का सबसे बड़ा आकर्षण है। शिक्षा और स्कूलों के मामले में बदायूँ उत्तर प्रदेश के बाकी जिलों से अच्छी पहचान रखता है। बदायूं अपने जरी-जरदोजी उत्पादों के लिए प्रसिद्ध है। यह काम तहसील बदायूं, बिसोली और दातागंज में प्रमुख है। लगभग 35 फीसदी परिवार इस उद्योग में लगे हुए हैं।
बदायूँ का सेहत सेवाओं के मामले में यह आलम है के यहाँ बच्चों का इन्फ़ैकशन से मरना बहुत आम बात है। आप अगर बदायूँ की परेशानियों की लिस्ट बनाना शुरू करेंगे तो आप खत्म हो जाएंगी मगर लिस्ट मुकम्मल न होगी। बाकी नेता लोग अपनी रस्साकशी में कुछ भी दावा करें उस पर यकीन करना खुद को धोखा देने जैसा है....

Positive 2: You must have heard the famous song 'Pyar Kiya To Darna Kya' from the movie Mughal-e-Azam. Its lyricist was Shakeel Budauni, today we will talk about his city Budaun. Budaun, known as the land of Sufi saints and Auliya, is famous all over the world for its unique identity. For a time, Budaun was called the heart of Rohilkhand. During the reign of Sultan Iltutmish, Budaun was the capital of Delhi Sultanate for four years from 1210 AD to 1214 AD.
Budaun, which is a major business district in western Uttar Pradesh, is spread over 4234 sq km with a population of about 37 lakhs, of which 21 percent is Muslim. Till now we have been hearing that Mr. Gentleman built a tomb in memory of his wife, but this story was reversed after coming to Badaun. Roza Ikhlas Khan, the most famous place of Budaun, was built by the wife of Nawab Ikhlas Khan in memory of her husband (Ikhlas Khan).
Budaun district has 6 assembly and 1 Lok Sabha seats, which were considered as the hold of the Samajwadi Party, but this myth was also broken in the last election. Budaun ranks among those backward districts of the country, which receive special aid for development from the Ministry of Panchayati Raj (2006), Government of India. Being only 280 km away from Delhi, Budaun is much better in terms of transport.
Among the oldest and largest mosques in India, the Jama Masjid of Budaun which was built by Sultan Iltutmish is the biggest attraction of this city. In terms of education and schools, Budaun has a good identity from the rest of the districts of Uttar Pradesh. Badaun is famous for its zari-zardozi products. This work is famous in Tehsil Budaun, Bisoli and Daatganj. About 35 percent of the households are engaged in this industry.
In the case of Budaun's health services, it is common that children die from infection. If you start making the list of Budaun troubles, then you will end but the list will not be complete. The rest of the leaders claim anything in their tug of war, to believe it is like cheating ourselves…
