We traded in our snowblower and winter boots for shorts and flip-flops! 🏖️🩴

In this short vlog, you can join us as we bike down to a poupular gringo hangout, a Mexican sports bar. They play every sporting event you would want here chicos and if what you are looking for is not on one of the many TVs, just ask the kind staff and they will gladly put it on for you
We headed out after dark today as Jennifer was working and she was ready for a cold, frosty beverage at Xipol. We have added some of the drink prices for you as well, chicos. We will then take a quick walk in the park before heading back home. Check location below, chicos.

We are 2 Canadians that sold everything and moved to Mexico on October 14th, 2021
We packed up 3 suitcases each with our then 12-year-old Maltese & hopped on a plane for Cancun. ✈️🏖️🩴

We moved to Mexico for a slower pace and a healthier lifestyle, under the sun in the sand & palm trees!!
Making new friends and experiencing a new culture and language.

We started our journey looking in the Progreso area of the Yucatan, using a realtor.
Update: We ended up living in Merida for the first 6 months, then we moved to Progreso.
Update: We then moved to Chicxulub, then back to Merida.
We then moved Coatepec, then to Xalapa Veracruz; we are now on the Oaxacan coastline, chicos.✌🏽 Next stop will be Metepec, a town just east of Mexico city, then we head to Cancun for the winter of 2025/26

You can join us as we travel around Mexico, staying at each location for approximately one year; this way we can fully explore the area. It will also keep our content fresh and exciting for us all, chicos. ✌🏽🎉🎊
