Castle in the Sky (1986) | Fan-made Trailer (Subtitled)

"Brought together one fateful night, Pazu and Sheeta must unlock the mystery of the legendary floating castle."

Castle in the Sky is my favorite Studio Ghibli movie, and as a little video editing exercise I thought it might be fun to cut together a movie trailer in a bit more of a contemporary style (considering all the other Japanese language trailers are from the 80s). I'm a pretty novice video editor, but I'm happy enough with how it turned out. Perfect timing, too, since thanks to Ghibli Fest 2024 this movie will be back in theaters later this month! I'll be positively delighted if anybody who hasn't seen this movie decides to go see it because of my trailer.
