McMahon has been preaching about immigration obstacles in the dairy industry for 25 years – since he first hired workers from Mexico and Guatemala. Here’s the truth, according to McMahon: There is no work visa available for foreign workers who milk New York’s 630,000 cows, birth their calves, take their temperatures and administer their shots. It’s difficult, dirty work most Americans do not want to do.
