Yes, this video is long, and that was intentional for new sewing angels to learn more tips & tricks - however, timeline chapters are listed below for those veteran sewing angels to speed watch time to what they need to see! I'm super excited teaching how to sew a sustainable pleated organic face mask with a nose panel - thus removing all the non-sustainable elements. Yay for the planet!

In this video sewing tutorial, I will show you step by step how to make an organic, natural, eco-friendly face mask. I will also share all the elements to make this face mask; all are 100% biodegradable, including removing the unsustainable plastic and elastic components.

This organic face mask has a graded pattern in 8 sizes, which includes 3 for children. Sizes range from toddler to adult plus size. We review the proper way to cut your fabrics so that your face mask fits properly without any gaps or openings! A pet peeve of mine!

Additionally, this sewing pattern offers (2) face mask styles in one pattern. Style #1 is a demo in this video, the surgical pleated mask with a nose bridge panel. This addition to the standard pleated mask enables you to offer a wire-free mask that essentially helps with the fogging of people’s glasses - without the wire. In the next video, I will show you how to make a surgical pleated mask with a removable nose wire - which is also a more sustainable and user-friendly option!

I have also replaced elastic ear loops, neck lanyards, and strapping with a natural organic textile that is 100% biodegradable. It's softer and more comfortable than any elastic; you will love it! Wooden pony beads add to the environmentally friendly design as well!
