Working from home can have its downsides, one of which is the risk of burnout. With the constant blur of work and personal life, it can be easy to lose track of time and neglect self-care. To combat this, it's essential to take regular breaks and find ways to de-stress.

Recently, my wife and I decided to take a mini-vacation to break the monotony of working from home. We decided to stay at a nearby hotel, which was just a 10-minute ride from where we live. This small getaway gave us the chance to disconnect from work and recharge our batteries. The change of scenery and the little luxuries of the hotel made all the difference and we returned feeling refreshed and re-energized.

Taking a short break like this can be a great way to get some distance from the daily grind, and to come back more productive and focused. It's a reminder that taking time for ourselves, is important and it's good for our mental and physical well-being.
