Problem
A photograph of a bacteria is enlarged 50,000 times and its length becomes 5 cm. We need to find the actual length of the bacteria and the length of the photograph if it is enlarged 20,000 times.

Solution
Actual Length of the Bacteria
The photograph is enlarged 50,000 times, and the length of the bacteria becomes 5 cm. To find the actual length, we can do the following calculation:

Actual Length = 5 cm / 50,000
Actual Length = 0.0001 cm or 1 micrometer

Length of the Photograph Enlarged 20,000 Times
Now, we want to find the length of the photograph if it is enlarged 20,000 times. We know that the photograph is enlarged 50,000 times, and its length becomes 5 cm. So, we can do the following calculation:

Length (20,000 times) = (20,000 / 50,000) × 5 cm
Length (20,000 times) = 2 cm

Therefore, the length of the photograph enlarged 20,000 times would be 2 cm.
