AMAZING Rebuild! The Future World Class Stadium Shah Alam in Selangor, Malaysia!

Stadium Shah Alam, located in Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia, is a multi-purpose stadium primarily used for football matches. It is the home ground of the Selangor FA football team. The stadium, which opened in 1994, has a seating capacity of around 80,000, making it one of the largest stadiums in Malaysia. The design of the stadium is notable for its distinctive roof and modern architecture. It has hosted numerous local and international sporting events, concerts, and other large-scale events. Starting on July 2024, the legendary Stadium Shah Alam is set to be demolished and rebuilt. The decision to demolish the stadium is part of a redevelopment plan to upgrade the facility to modern standards. The new stadium is expected to include various improvements and enhanced facilities to better accommodate sports events and other activities. The redevelopment aims to create a more modern and versatile venue for the community and visitors. Very good positive initiative!

I believe many people have fond memories associated with the stadium and market, such as attending football matches, concerts, and community events, or simply shopping and socializing.Change often brings a sense of loss, and the demolition of well-known and beloved places can evoke feelings of nostalgia and sadness among those who have grown up with these landmarks. Now it's time for a wave of nostalgia!

I heard in Seksyen 13 Shah Alam has a local Morning Market every sunday. The Pasar Shah Alam is one of the prominent market near Stadium Shah Alam. With the new construction going on, it makes me super curious. Let us check out where it is now. According to the sources from the internet news, the reasons behind the decision to demolish and redevelop these landmarks are to modernization, improved facilities especially for community around Shah Alam City. Impressive Isn't it!

Previously, most traveller to take a public transportation such as Rapid KL bus or a taxi to reach Stadium Shah Alam from Glenmarie LRT Train Station. Alternatively, using a ride-hailing service like Grab can provide a more direct route. With the newest LRT Shah Alam Line Train, visitors can easily get to Stadium Shah Alam using the LRT3 in Malaysia, you first need to take the LRT3 line to an interchange station where you can transfer to the Kelana Jaya Line. Once on the Kelana Jaya Line, head towards Glenmarie station. In this video you will also see the new Rapid Van service the Demand Response Transit (DRT) that I used to get to Stadium Shah Alam.
