A potentiometer is an electronic component that has adjustable electrical resistance, its central connection is sliding and manipulated via a movable pin, this allows adjusting and controlling the intensity between 2 limits, and thus indicating to the system the exact intensity that we want to apply.
But there are several types of potentiometers, each of them is used for a certain task, equipment, interaction or precision. There are single, double, trimmer, sliding and multivolume potentiometers. In this video I will compare the 3 main types of potentiometers, a simple one, a double with spring and a sliding one, and show the respective equipment where this type of potentiometers is used.
