LABIOMISTA is an evolving work of art about the mix of life by artist Koen Vanmechelen in Genk, Flanders. The modern art exhibition is open-air in a 24-hectare park, with many artworks and (living) installations that deal with topics such as diversity, human rights, identity, fertility and more. Our host Pedro Waeghe has an exclusive conversation with Vanmechelen about his approach to art and science within his work, discusses the history of the mining industry within Genk with the Mayor of Genk, Wim Dries, and explored what LABIOMISTA has to offer for all of its visitors.
