Our experience with Kuwait Airways turned into a complete travel nightmare. What was meant to be a smooth journey ended in a 22-hour delay, leaving us stranded in Kuwait with no proper help, no clear communication, and a stay in a substandard airport hotel.

To make things worse, airport customs pulled us aside after discovering a toy gun in our luggage — adding stress and confusion to an already exhausting situation.

But the most disappointing part? Because of this delay, we lost one out of the only four days we had planned in the UK to spend with family. And when we contacted Kuwait Airways for compensation, they told us 22 hours wasn’t long enough to qualify. We were shocked by their lack of responsibility and empathy.
