They don’t settle for one sales channel.

Nope they don’t try and find all their customers themselves (by spending all their money on attraction methods (hi FB ads i love you i really do)

They understand the importance of using other businesses to showcase their products for them and have distribution around the world.
sells to stores globally. She doesn’t have her own retail stores in every city or country.
She used wholesale to get products out to more people, to build brand awareness, to test the market (before she would think about opening a retail store-and even when she does open a Retail store she didn’t shut down all her wholesalers!)

Of all the brands in all the world in all of history very very few ever success as a pure DTC online only (heck this really is only 20 years old phenomenon)
Wholesale can be a great option for many brands and has the potential to be a strong revenue stream (income source) for you in addition to others if you want a long term sustainable product business.
As well as potentially distributors, or other marketplaces or pop-ups or markets or etsy just to name a few.
