Although the title says TurboGrafx-CD, this list actually includes games from all the different CD versions. Released in 1989, the TurboGrafx-CD was a groundbreaking add-on for the TurboGrafx-16 console, introducing CD-ROMs to home gaming and enabling larger games with enhanced audio and full-motion video.

In Japan, this add-on was known as the PC Engine CD (released in 1987), offering similar advancements with improved soundtracks and more complex game designs. The Turbo Duo, launched in 1991 in Japan and 1992 in North America, combined the TurboGrafx-16 and TurboGrafx-CD into a single unit, featuring additional RAM and an updated BIOS to play all CD-ROM² and Super CD-ROM² titles.
