Описание к видео The Outlaw Project Builds Tiny Homes for BIPOC Community in Tucson, AZ

To combat the widening economic gap, organizations are finding creative ways to provide affordable housing for vulnerable populations in our community. The Outlaw Project is another organization focused on building tiny homes to provide safe, rent-free housing for Black Trans Women. Producer John DeSoto introduces us to another story in this series on tiny home communities, and how they are providing unique solutions to those in need.

The Outlaw Project was founded to mitigate the dire circumstances that frequently affect transgendered people of color. To ensure the rights and health of BIPOC Trans Women and sex workers, they are building transitional housing which helps provide emergency housing, economic justice, self-sufficiency; harm reduction, and mitigates the impact of oppression.
